Photography courses in singapore for children?

Hi there!
I was wondering if there are any beginner photography courses in singapore, between aljunied and changi (I live around there,) for ages 9 – 15? If so, do you mind giving me the address/contact/website/company name?

Two years ago, on May 12, 2008, a powerful 8.0 magnitude earthquake struck Sichuan province in western China, killing more than 87,000 people and destroying 5 million houses. The American Red Cross provided 200 students in Guangyuan district with disposable cameras to document their lives now. For children of what ages?

I don’t know if this link will help. I did a search and not a lot of helpful sites came up. But perhaps you can contact this photographer and ask her for suggestions.

Another option would be high school photography classes. Some camera stores offer photography classes at different levels. I’m not sure if there are any age restrictions.

photography tips for children?

i want to be a photographer but all the websites are for adults or they are courses which i can’t do!

toocute and cappuchino – try reading the question properly!!

To the questioner. A website giving photography tips is for ANYONE not just adults.
The techniques are the same if you are 6 or 60.

As for courses, check with your school, they may well do photography classes or have a photography club. Also local photography clubs will welcome anyone normally.

Photography School For children?

Hello, I live in Kilkenny.
I’ve 2 children, the oldest girl is 12.
She is sooo into photography.
Soon I am going to buy a professional
photo camera, I promised it to her
when she gets in an after-school place
where someone teaches children her age and
older all about photography. She is so upset
that after so long no one in her class knows,
and everyone’s best friend Google hasn’t
anything to help with.
So, the question is: Do you know any after school
places for children to learn all about and around
photography in Kilkenny, Ireland.

Sorry no, the best option is for you and your daughter to visit the head teacher and approach the school to ask if they could set one up. As long as enough kids were interested, and a teacher was willing they may say yes.
