Here is a 24×24 http://www.interfitphotographic.com/Accessories/Accesories%20index.htm . It’s a very versatile tent, especially if you want to light glass from the bottom since it is open.
Photoflex http://www.photoflex.com/Pro_Products/Shooting_Enclosures/ has some larger tents and panels to make your own.

i have a film camera (minolta srt 101) and i took some photos with it…i set the shutter speed to "B" and took a picture in a dark room with a flashlight to do some light photography..will it work? i held the shutter button for at least 25 seconds while my sister slowly played with a flashlight..will it come out like streaks of light?thanks

Ah yes, an old 101. I still have a Pentax K1000. I love that old "Model T."

You might get something on the film. It depends on so many factors that you’ll have to experiment around if you want to get something worth keeping, and using film makes it more of an expensive proposition, alas.

Here’s what to do if you want to gain a modicum of control: first, black out and turn on the flashlight. Use the camera’s meter to get an idea of what the exposure should be at the brightest part of the flashlight circle, then open up two more stops on the aperture. If you’re already open all the way, you might want to switch to a bigger flashlight. If you’re going to be moving the flashlight beam around then meter for a shutter speed like 1/4 sec or so, and try to move slowly enough when you make the exposure so that any given spot on your subject gets this much light.

The point is, that the meter records light as though it were neutral gray, but you want to show the illuminated area as about two stops (ZVIII for you Adamites out there) lighter than that, so you open up two stops.

Once you’ve found your settings, try an exposure. You might be surprised to find that you need a wider-angle lens than you thought to get this to come out right, because the effect you would want with such a setup is one where you have "ribbons" of light showing stuff, in an otherwise black picture.

Keep poking at it until you have something to show off. Remember: you have to have something worth looking at if FULL light FIRST before you’ll have something worth looking at with the effect on it. This might make a great technique for an album cover picture of a band or something.

I want to know how to use my camera to make light paintings. My friend used a Cannon but shouldn’t a Nikon work the same? Please all you smart intelligent people help me and tell me how to do it(=

I don’t work with Nikon, but I’ll GUARANTEE you that you can do light painting with it. All you have to do is use a really slow shutter speed, make sure the room you’re in is really dark, and then take something that produces light (like a laser pointer), and you can draw stuff. The long shutter speed enables the camera to capture the entire "stream" of light all at once, which is where you get a light painting from
All you’ve gotta do is figure out how to control the shutter speed on your camera, and you’re golden. Should be fairly easy to find it in the manual (and if you don’t have the manual, you can usually look it up online–probably even on Nikon’s website )

If you are willing to photograph the shirts without using a model you could look into getting a light tent. You can get a small-medium one for $50-100 depending on the size you want.
