This video explains into depth how to create a photograph that offers an increase in the dynamic range (or higher dynamic range) that is done by using your camera’s Multiple Exposure alone rather than using Photomatix HDR (High Dynamic Range) photographic image software, which usually result in unusable garbage due to lack of knowledge in tone mapping.

Since doing this in-camera offers realistic higher dynamic range than garbage results coming from Photomatix.

No, you can not use Auto Exposure Bracketing while Multiple Exposure because with AEB enabled, the Multiple Exposure will be disabled. Enjoy.

DSLR – What company (Nikon, Canon, etc.) is the best quality for a photography camera?

I’ve been interested in photography for quite a while. But I haven’t gotten around to buying a professional camera. I have a digital camera that I’ve used that is very poor quality. I usually use my phone camera. DSLRs (photography cameras) are extremely costly and expensive.

I need a company that is best quality.
I need a place to buy them for lower prices.

Pros use Nikon and Canon for a variety of reasons but they don’t use Nikon or Canon consumer DSLRs. Pros can justify the expense of Nikon and Canon specialty lenses where the average consumer cant. Pros make money from the expensive equipment they buy but the average consumer doesn’t. Just because pros use a particular brand doesn’t mean its better for the average user. Nikon and Canon took hold because of aggressive marketing in which other manufacturers chose not to participate. It doesn’t mean there are no other high quality DSLRs available.

If youre shopping for lower prices chances are youre not purchasing a pro camera. A pro camera will run around $2000 minimum.

If you want very high quality images without the added cost of the Nikon and Canon names go for the Pentax K-x. In tests it performs better than the Nikon D3000 and about equal to the D5000. See the comparison

Some will argue there are more Nikon and Canon lenses available. Its true. Check the prices. Can you afford all the lenses available? If you can do you plan on buying each and every one? There are more than enough Pentax and third party lenses available for any photographer.

What is a good, cheap, beginners photography camera?

Hello.. I’m starting a photoimaging course late next month, i am wanting to persue photography as a career… I need a nice well quality camera… I would love a slr one, but they’re all very expencive just to begin with… Im looking for something that is atleast under $500…
Any ideas?? Thanks.

Cameras like the Nikon p90 give a good mid range between a DSLR and a high end point and shoot.
Although the p90 isn’t the best its the only one I’ve shot on of that type (I use DSLRs pretty much always).
There are many "prosumer" cameras out at the moment too so google those a little.

What is the best camera to use in photography, that isn’t too expensive?

A really good friend of mine recently got into photography. The camera he currently uses is low grade, and takes extremely poor quality pictures. I’m just wondering what the best brand or model or make of camera would be good idea to purchase on an average to low budget.

Canon, Nikon and Sony makes great camera’s. There are a lot of good quality DSLR on the market. However, you can take great pictures with a non-SLR camera.

Sticking with the bigger brand names such as Canon, Nikon and Sony will ensure that you’re getting higher quality optics, lenses and the CCD and CMOS will be better quality as well. The CCD or CMOS is the sensor that receives the light and converts it into a digital image.

Most cheaper cameras might have a high megapixel but with a low quality CCD or CMOS the image will still turn out badly. Therefore, it’s better to spend a little extra on a more established brand that has higher quality sensors.

Some good cheaper camera would be the Canon Powershot series or the Sony cybershots.
