i want to be a photographer but all the websites are for adults or they are courses which i can’t do!
toocute and cappuchino – try reading the question properly!!
To the questioner. A website giving photography tips is for ANYONE not just adults.
The techniques are the same if you are 6 or 60.
As for courses, check with your school, they may well do photography classes or have a photography club. Also local photography clubs will welcome anyone normally.

get down to their level when shooting. Capture them doing what children like to do ex:playing.
Make sure you use the rule of thirds, and try to get the subject full framed ex: if you want to shoot their face fill the frame w their face, if you want their whole body fill frame with the whole body, try not to capture too many other elements in your shot other than a simple use of props. and last but not least…be patient!!!
hope this helps

i agree at toocutetoletgo, try shooting them while playing. a good example is when they blow bubbles. it could show the diffrent kinds of bubbles. flowers are good or try taking pictures of a water drop from faucet or a leaf. that will look good. remember use the rule of thirds

Why do you think all websites are for adults? If you are old enough to be on here asking, then you should be able to read and comprehend the basics, or at least a great deal. Two of the sites I frequently link to for beginners are fairly easy to understand.

Until you get to high school you may have to learn on your own. Take a look at the local kid’s programs. Often the Y, summer camp, or other children’s groups may have a class. Perhaps a teacher or family member has an interest in photography. Ask them if they might mentor you and help you get started.
The first step is to visit the library or book store for a book on the basics of photography and composition. Look at a few and get one with simple text and illustration. Also read your camera manual. If there are words you don’t understand (like aperture, shutter, ISO) look the terms up in your photography book. Also make a habit of looking a good pictures in magazines and books. Pay attention to the light, and think about why you like the image. Then try to make some of your own.
Good luck. Photography is a good subject to self study. You have lots of time and can move at your own pace. Best wishes and happy shooting!
