What is a good/great laptop or netbook computer for art students going into photography?



My laptop kicked the bucket and my parents are just gonna buy me a new one instead of trying to fix my current one, I’m gonna need a new one for college anyway so wth.

Anyway, I’m going to an art college next year, hopefully to SCAD, and I’m going to go into commercial photography. So I need a computer that is good for photography/creating art.

    Well, a lot of College provide students with laptops and add them to the tuition costs. They also install software so the laptops automatically connect to the schools network.

    Most of the time these laptops are Macs…

    For your major, any laptop with a nice size harddrive (320gb+), a good amount of RAM 4GB+), and a good CPU (Intel Core i3, i5, or i7) would be best..

    Any standard Dell, or HP should suffice, but if you want reliability, look into Asus or Sager laptops. They are built with the best and most reliable parts.
