What is the difference between fashion and glamour photography?
Sometimes I get it then I see a picture that totally throws me. The other day I saw a picture in a fashion mag, I forget the name but it was one that I hadn’t heard of before. it was a 3/4 shot of a woman who had on jeans, a hat, and a no top with her elbows covering her boobs. I always thought that fashion was about the clothes and glamour was about the body. But in this picture, my eyes immediately went to the girl and her boobs first, then the hat second. So is it safe to say that this is one of those pics that mesh both genres together? Or did the photographer do a not so hot job of promoting the hat?
Fashion is about the clothing, accessories and overall "style".
Glamour is about the sex-appeal.

fashion: selling cothing/accessories etc (possibly via sexy images – topless woman as you describe) It is about making the product look good
Glamour: it is about the model and making her look good – clothed or not.

When I worked in a modeling agency our only differentiation was between "fashion" and "beauty"..The former being full-body and the latter being face-only.
