My 2 kids are in a non-competitive modelling agency. They are both 4. Noah has a 2 jobs. 1 small and 1 big, and Mady has had 1 big job. I am not sure If I should use them to advertise my photography business in my print add (just flyers) or run a casting and hire some kids. If I use my kids, I’ll have to speak to their agency. But I think they will be fine with it.

I am just worried people might think it is not fair to use my own kids.

What do you think?
Use my kids or hire kid models?

If I were you I’d find out if using your own children as model violates any contracts that they currently have. If not, then you should use them as your models because it will further their careers by having more exposure. Of course I think you should set aside any money you would normally pay a model and pay them instead. Keep it in the family.
