I just got my Girl friend a Lap top for her Birthday. She is trying to start up a home photography business. What can I buy to put on her computer that makes her photos look pro? the only thing I can think of is photo shop. is there anything better? it doesn’t mater how much it costs. I just no this is gonna make her so happy!
Adobe Photoshop Elements is a good one and more affordable than Photoshop. Elements only cost about $80 retail.

To make pictures look pro, it must be exposed as perfectly as possible in-camera to eliminate the need to use computer graphics software. If your girlfriend is still struggling to get her shots right, perhaps a good book about photography would benefit her more.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is an excelent program which will do everything she needs if she shoots in RAW format. If she wants to drasticaly modify images than photoshop would be a great way to go. The combo of the two is perfect as Lightroom is a great way to organize your photos especially when you really get going. See the link below to research the products on Adobe’s website.
