I’m getting a pretty good camera today, it’s a Canon 7.1 mega pixels which is good, right? I’m really getting into photography. I’m serious about it, but I don’t necessarily want it as a career.

Can any of you give me some tips on how to get started and how to take good pictures?

I’m interested in these types of photos:

I know there are better cameras but I wanted a pretty good camera for under $200. Like I said, I’m serious about it but more as a hobby than anything else.

Well, it’s kinda good but there are many other cameras with higher pixels… anyway…
Practice and think what kind of photos should you take. Don’t just press that "take photo" button for no reason.

EDIT: Yeah It’s good. I have 7.1 megapixel Canon digital camera and It rocks. Can’t say anything bad about it. But all you can do is practice.
